Exodus

This book gave me a whole new perspective on the Hebrews exodus from Egypt and the events that lead up to it. I liked getting to know Aaron better in this book. I did not realize there were so many plagues that happened before Ramses let the Hebrews leave Egypt. This book made the story become more real to me. I had not thought about how hard it would be for the slaves who had lived their wholes lives being told what to do now to learn to govern themselves. It was interesting to read Moses’s point of view- his struggles and worries. The relationship between Aaron and Moses was interesting too. I never thought about Moses being the outsider and needing Aaron to be the spokesmen between him and the Hebrews because the people trusted Aaron more. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy having scripture stories come to life.
